No G-Sync option? Does it even work?
I've noticed in the V-Sync options that it says there should be Off, On, Half, and G-Sync but G-Sync isn't selectable despite having a G-Sync monitor. The only options I have to choose from are Off, On (144), and Half (72). Does it even work with this game? Using it in the Nvidia Control Panel doesn't seem to make a difference either.

So I think it's greyed out if you have gsync forced in your nvidia panel. Because that means it'll run gsync no matter what anyway. Because I have a gsync monitor and the option is also greyed out for me, however I get zero tearing ever.

So it's definatly working.

I don't even have it as a greyed out option though; just off, on, and half. I've even tried disabling it via the NCP and it still doesn't show up in the game's options.

Games never have Gsync in their options - its enabled in the Nvidia Control Panel and overides any ingame settings. As Ouroboros says - its definately working.

I know that. But since beta update 1.3 some new options and descriptions have been added for each setting on the right hand side. And for the V-Sync option it tells you what each one is. It lists off, on, half, and g-sync, but g-sync isn't listed like the others.

I noticed that too. I have a 144hz g-sync monitor and it's set to windowed and fullscreen in the nvidia control panel but it stil gives me no option to turn g-sync on. It's like they meant to add a working g-sync option but forgot lol. No other game even needs a special settign for g-sync to take over so I wonder why are they are doing this.

Games don't enable g-sync. Whatever you saw in the menu of this game, just turn off all "sync stuff", then make sure g-sync is enabled in nvidia control panel. My Asus screen has a red LED when g-sync is being actively used so I can confirm it just works, also with this game, but it does have nothing to do with any particular game even.

That's what I thought, so I wondered what in the hell that new g-sync selection was even about lol. Thanks for confirming.

Gsync, freesync and VRR don't work properly in this game no matter what you do and has never worked. It adds studder even at a locked frame rate. So don't use it in this game. It seems to cause a frame pacing issue and may be related to engine based triple buffering.

Yes this is an old topic but people are still asking about it on Reddit so if you dont like old topics being brought back to life... Tough. I did it because it contains information that's important.
