Low qualtiy graphics even on high settings
I bought this game a few days ago and was so excited to play it. But, Even on almost maximum settings graphics still look very low quality like an early 2000's game, and also frame rate is locked to 30 FPS.

I tried restarting Dishonored 2 with the new settings and still the same ugly graphics.

My specs...
PC: 2013 ASUS Desktop
Graphics card: NVidia GeForce GTX 950 2GB
Processor: AMD 3.5GHz
Hard Drive: 950 GB

Could it be my PC being too outdated? Is it a bug? Or... what...? Thanks in advance.

I'm agree with you, i can't play since the new patch 1.2 !
Can we delete it and go back without patch ? it was better before..

ps: Sorry, my english is rusty.

Is a bug. If you turn the setting to medium and then restart, you can play with medium graphics just fine. If you want better graphics i guess you have to wait for naother patch.

From what people noticed so far, it seems that low quality textures are there, because of 2GB card. Looks like the game won't let you use better textures even if you set it in options.

As for 30fps, turn v-sync off and set fps to 60.

So there's nothing I can do about the textures other than buying a more expensive GPU? :(

Also, thanks for the frame rate tip! :)

So you're saying I can only play on the preset graphics and not custom graphics? Actually my preset is Ultra and textures still look very low res.

I'm a grammar nazi so I was at first very slightly disappointed when I saw your grammatical mistake, but since you apologized it's all ok! :D Don't worry, it's not a bad thing if you can't speak a foreign language even if it's universal.

You mean the low graphics is because of the patch? Ok, I got it.

I guess they did it to prevent people with not enough vram from gpus melting.
I don't have this bug, but I have 980.

Honestly, I'd seriously rather have my outdated GPU "melt" and enjoy HD graphics... than have to look at ugly 1990's style graphics. Honestly.

And besides, I don't think the "melting" would be too bad since the GTX 950 / 2GB isn't "that" bad, and Dishonored 2 doesn't even look that graphically/visually intensive or "next gen".

You can play with custom settings but basically if you have this bug, high = medium, very high = low, ultra = very low for all settings.

D2 doesn't look intensive or even impressive, because the engine is a pile of unoptimised crap first and foremost.
About gpu, for comparison sake, your gpu is slightly better (but nothing to write about) than gtx 660, which is mentioned as absolute minimum for this game.

Hmm, that's so... strange. Is "high=medium" the highest possible quality? Is there a way to play on at least High?

If high=medium, very high=low, and ultra=very low, what do Medium, Low, and Very Low =?

"Unoptimised crap"... very true. It doesn't look good, doesn't work good either. Very crappy indeed. We'll just wait for a patch, then? Are the devs even thinking of that? Fixing the ugly graphics and low textures, I mean.
