Really disappointed in this game
I loved the first Dishonored. Got all the ps4 trophies (platinum) multiple times. As a sequel, it sucks. Emily is just not fun at all to play. I tried to do my first playthrough with her on high chaos and it was just so boring.. Her abilities are just kind of lame tbh. The larger open areas are so big I get lost, especially in the buildings. The clockwork mansion was just plain frustrating, as well as the clockwork enemies. Even on easy you won't be able to win in a sword fight. I know difficulty was to easy in the first dishonored, but in 2 even easy is really hard, The enemies are so bland and boring this time around. I loved the enemies in dishonored 1. I really wanted to know if they got their own squad that night or if they were up for whiskey and cigars. The D2 enemies are just "I am the best trained guard you wil never defeat me!" Meagen Foster is also lame. She has nothing on Samuel. She is just kind of... there. Also I dont even see how someone could Ghost and Shadow D2. The design of the levels are just so convoluted and enemies are everywhere.

Anyways have fun. Going back to Dishonored 1 on PS4 to finish my third platinum run

You know there are ways to help increase your abilities against things like the Clockworks, *specifically* with the sword... Apparently you don't know how to sneak, because it's very possible (not easy-peasy) to get both ghost and shadow, as well as many other achievements.

Can't tell if trolling with that 'bland and boring' thing, because there's about 600% more dialog and information going on with the guards, npcs, enemies, and main characters.

To each their own I suppose, but it's a very worthy sequel if you have the patience to read the screen and look at the upgrades available to you.
"Even on easy you won't be able to win in a sword fight." Why are you stating how other people will find the game? Lots of people find the game too easy even on the maximum skill setting, and also love the larger levels.

Your main argument is that you personally are really bad at the game?
And I enjoyed the game a lot, I guess it's a matter of personal taste heh?

I have to disagree about the bland NPC though, as far as I observed there's plenty of things to observe, dialogue and overal lore in this game, even more so than in D1. Now to be fair if I had to point at something D1 did better than D2 was the between-the-mission hub, I felt more concerned about the well being of whoever was there while I couldn't have much care for "Grumpy da Vinci and one-armed-bandit are on a boat"

I gave Megan her arm back and she still acted like a total ♥♥♥♥♥. I had compleatly no sympathy for her. So I compleatly agree with the Squid person. In D1 I would never kill Sokolov or Piero or Calista or Samuel, Even though it was possible when you meet them at the end. But in D2 killing Megan at the end of a high chaos run has become somewhat of a habit.

I'm okay with Sokolov so I didn't go full sadist mode and show him Megans body to watch the last piece of his sanity break. Okay. I did. But I didn't enjoy it as much as I though I would

Is a review not discussing your thoughts?

Wait a sec... are the levels in D2 bigger than D1? They seem about the same size to me, though D2's seem denser.

Both bigger and denser.

Considerably bigger, yes. Mostly due to their verticality, which was present in D1 but really greatly expanded in 2. But exploration has always been key to the game's backstory and there is plenty of that in D2.

There is an area provided for writing reviews, so there is no point at writing a bible about your thoughts on the game here in discussions.

Except that we can disuss it if they feel like talking back about our thoughts. I don't read this as a review, anyway.

easy answer. he doesn't own the game so he can't write a review. so he trolls here instead

I'm going with "has played it on console" because if he hadn't actually played it, there wouldn't be any amount of detail in the review. It's okay, we can actually still discuss the game here, in the game discussion board...

When an opinion you don't agree with always leads to "he's a troll and doesnt own the game"
