OMG, I didn't even imagine that. :D
I will think about that possibility next time. Thanks for pointing it out.
Guess I was pretty unlucky with my turns about the explosion then.
It's 4 (killed) to 2 (survived) if I remeber correctly.
My outcome wasn't that good.
Well, even if I saved at the point I got her alive right at the first try.
So I guess I was just unlucky the previous playthroughs.
Maybe she got killed by debris?
Addition:
Lol, just realized that Emily and Corvo are vampires.
Right when I let Emily took out the shop keeper there was only the shadow of the shop keeper to be seen on the wall.
This reminds me about the mirror reflections in NOLF.

Good ol' times. ^^
Think I should replay it again some time...
Damn it. It still regularly annoys me that no-one's got around to releasing on Steam or GOG :(
I have the second one too, but everytime I try the wide screen fix, it messes up my HUD.
I've also used the fixed HUD archive from there, but it didn't help.
Haven't tried the first one for ages, but I fear it also might not run well. :/
I really would like to get that on GOG, since I have that account only for old games which need a bit love to run flawlessly on modern systems.
Furthermore the second one had a very nice "skill system", which could be seen as some sort of predecessor of the Far Cry 3 to Primal system.
Nothing that special to add new moves or abilities, but getting quicker hidden, increasing ammunition capazity, increasing investigation speed, ...
Was a pretty nice RPG-aspect for such an ego shooter.
Clever idea!
That goes for all the missions with black markets... don't rob them until you know you're done with them! I find this especially critical in the last mission because I like to go back and stock up after clearing the streets and before going through the gates.
