Nobody told me, it was how long i got before i completed it.
I was wondering if i played Corvo first and played through to the end and IF choosing Emily at the beginning if it gives different quests and you are located in different areas. Like 2 different playthroughs
I have just hit roughly 9 hours and have only just finished the 2nd mission on my first playthrough. Im playing as Emily and am trying to be as stealthy as possible, no killing. Then i will play as Corvo and have some fun murdering people and playing around with the systems in play.
This game is well worth its current sale price, i would have bought sooner had it not had the early performance issues. It runs really well on my system at ultra settings.
I would imagine 10 hours is for one playthrough of someone just charging through with no care for getting spotted. That is not the way this game is supposed to be played at all.
I didnt rush it or anything, i even took my time. But i only got 10 hours. Im just sad that i can't refund because i thought it would be more like 30-40 hours of GAMEPLAY for the price. Lets take far cry 3 for an example, super happy how long that lasted. Currently far cry 3 is like 7 euro and is 4x longer than dishonored. Just so dissapointed
i got about 13 hours with emily doing no detection and 0 kill(both at the same time)
i suggest make your own challanges try to do what i did for example do both achivement at the same time with your fav character hell i m now doing the same with corvo when i m done with the game i will have 30+ hours for sure
you can also try to find ways to rob all blackmarkets if you havent that will add up your gameplay time aswell ^^
i have checked ur achievements you havent done anything that is challanging i would understand if the Stealth or non lethal aproach isnt your thing but at least try to do other stuff like Freedom of Speech ?D you havent seen about %35 of the game ^^
are you collecting everything ? like all coins and blueprints and all kinds of stuff ? i have also done 0 kills and full stealth it took me 13 hours to finish the game.
I am more of a ''more gameplay guy'' not the on who tries to slow the game by making such challenges, even if it would be fun. I am dissapointed in the game because of such little content, i can't even believe it. Like, only 10 missions.
I did collect like 75% of the items each mission.
well since u were kinda rushing it by killing people i belive that would be ez to collect but still as i said u havent seen cool stuff i really suggest replaying with the character that you didnt finish the game with.
People will go up to 30-40 hours because there are multiple endings Stealth is amazing and there are 2 characters to play with
Tons of variations
Non Skill mode aswell ^^ some people will also try that
some people also would get creative with the way they kill the NPC's
There are lots of fun to be had in this game u just need to think a bit
Dishonored was never a get in kill and finish game...
just take my advice start over with the other character you didnt finish the game with and try to do the first mission without killing any1 and being deteced.^^
you will get cancer but at the end the feeling of that accoplisment is rlly GUD ^^
Is the game different if you choose a different character?
skills will be different so the way you appoach the things will be different
For example:
i see you played with corvo
if you play with emily you will have a skill called Domino which will allow you to link NPC's and u do 1 thing to 1 of em them the other will get the same effect(dying going uncountious) this will allow you to create different apporach styles.
some converstations are obivously different aswell ^^
