You can kill them both which is high chaos.
There is a non-lethal way to side with neither of them, but it's a bit more than just knocking them out (as knocking out they are conscious again by the end of the game).
It's a choice/action you make in the Dust district yes.
You have to do it before you go into Stilton's Manor. Don't even go briefly inside Jindosh's door before this choice/action, or it'll leave you unable to perform it.
No problem :)
also can i nock out burn and or polo and still get the ending you mentioned? i have knoked out evy one else but them at the moment and just duno what to do with them :D
there is always a non lethal way keep that in mind i have just finished the game with out killing any1 and without getting seen at the same time so it is possible...
i suggest get rid of powlo and the overseer leader at the same time u should have a way to eliminate them without killing i belive it should be sending them to mines if i recall correctly
thie thing is you can do a non lethat 0 kill gohst plaything simply by nocking evyone out. you dont have to do the excile thing that is just a bonus.
ofc u can thats what i did it was a pain in the ass tho but still its fun that way :) now imma do it with corvo :D
The exile thing will change the ending montage of the game :)
Any combination of leaving either one or both alive and not exiled has it's own small story ending in the end sequence.
