Alone in leaving Paolo/Byrne alone
I was going through my Corvo playthrough, nonlethal as usual, and I came again to the Dust District. My first playthrough (also nonlethal) I opted to loot the Overseer and Howler bases but leave Paolo and Byrne to deal with each other after I left. At the end of the game this actually worked out. They were shown in an office with Aramis negotiating with each other. However, I got curious as to what people thought of this ending, so I googled it and...all I found was discussions about exiling them. I had no idea until now that you could send them both off, but also nobody seems to know about the "leave alone" option. Did anybody even try to do that???

I have not. And dammit that means another run through the Dust District for me :D I just don't know if I can bring myself to side with the Abbey, because eeeeeeyeah I hate the Abbey.

Wow that's really cool , so what's the difference between the end script? I heard that if you leave the Paolo and Byrne along they will somehow exile the bodydouble duke and their power struggle will leave Karnaca in anarchy.
I never sided with either one, and I never exiled them either. The ending I got was that the Bodydouble, Stilton, Byrne and Paolo make a collective city board to run the city as a team. I dunno where you heard that they exile him, though that might have been a High Chaos run (which I never do. :P).

I just finished a High Chaos run where I left them both alone and saved Stilton, but in the ending it only showed Stilton. I'm not sure what became of them in my playthrough. =/
Did you send Paolo and Byrne to the mines, or leave them alone? You can spare them in 2 ways.

I just left them alone. I figured that would influence the ending, but I guess not. This time I'm doing a Clean Hands playthrough, so I'm just going to send both of them to the mines.
If you choose to leave them alone they end up in a city board, working together. I'd label that a spoiler but I already mentioned it above. Though I am curious what happens if you ship them off...

You're gonna want the Silvergraph studio key if you're to do that. It's in the room you got the combination from. Happy choking!

They just become some average miner and are out of the picture. So it seems like the multiple endings are just a combination of who's in charge and who doesn't. My first playthrough I exiled Paulo and Byrne but didn't save Stilton so that ending was just a bodydouble Duke sitting in the board. The second playthrough I saved Stilton so he's on board.
So not a huge difference in endings then...neat. I always love hearing how the endings change based on actions of other people.

This is why I wacth YouTubers do Let's Plays. I just want to see how other people approach it. Dishonored is one of my favorite games in that regard.
I rather hear the players, like on forums like these. Youtubers have a tendency to go the more "entertaining route". I don't blame them for this, heck I enjoy it myself. I just rather see how the average player goes about things, you know?

Most of the YouTubers I watch are pretty average, but I get what you mean. I just don't hear from Joe Average on the forums very much. Playstyle threads tend to get buried under other crap rather quickly.
I'm rather surprised this one isn't lost yet, in all honesty.

Well, since we're here... How did you deal with Jindosh? I'm always super curious how others approached the mansion.
I actually did the "in the walls" approach. Was a bit of a challenge but it was fun to take him out. In fact if you trigger the mansion change while in the walls, he's super confused because he doesn't see anybody.

Fun fact: Clockwork Soldiers do not count as kills, so you can use the Springrazor traps on them to take them out silently.
