Get out of Opening Room?

So, I feel really dumb having to ask this but...how do I get out of the opening room?

No clue, stuck there as well. Went through the tutorial as well to see if I was missing something obvious, but that doesn't appear to be the case.
Nothing in the warehouse lights up as interactable except the man you're with (who doesn't talk to you after the opening cutscene) and the door (which is locked).

Surely there's more to the game than this, what am I (/are we) missing?
