Your young possibly (new gen kids) because if you weren't you'd know that speed version or in this case generally speaking the ORIGINAL MS. PAC-MAN WAS FAST PERIOD well before the Atari Version's let alone Sega Genesis!
In case you're interested, I've actually done quite a bit of research into the matter since making this post. I can't believe it's 3 years old, though....
But I was apparently referring to the Tengen version of Ms Pac-Man, which has additional features on the Genesis like the Pac Booster and Crazy and Strange Mazes. We can still dream, but due to licensing, though, it's unlikely we'll ever see such a thing again. Ms Pac-Man as a character has been effectively shunned by Bandai-Namco, and that's before going the extra mile to track down where Tengen's rights dissolved.
No collection will ever really feel complete to me without bringing back those specific features, but this has been a phenomenal year to be a Pac-Man fan. The new Pac-Man Museum+ had games I didn't even know existed, as well as games I hadn't played since I owned a Namco collection on my GameBoy Advance! And now Pac-Man World just got a remake. Can't wait for World 2, which I initially played on the GameCube.
Thus concludes this random rant about Pac-Man. I bid you good day.
