building not connecting together

when i start a game i can build either normal buildings or utility buildings. once i build 2 of either type i cant build anything else ... also those 2 things will not connect together.

not the problem.... so i have 300 hrs in this . i quit playing for a few weeks and then returned. when starting a new game the air lock will not connect the the air maker . then it doesnt allow me to build anything else. i restart the game and build 1 solar and 1 water which dont connect and it doesnt let me build anything else. so i restart the game agian and try a diff game mode with same thing.... so i reinstalled the game and tryed a differrent mode.... same thing... no matter what 2 buildings i build they dont connect and it doest let me build anything else...

Yeah, thats odd alright, maybe have steam verify the files ?

actualyy tryd that and deleted all my saves .... im about to delete all my saved workshops and see if that fixs it.....

About all I see with a quick search is mentions of mod issues maybe.

deleting all my workshops worked ... i guess one of them wasnt working or something and had the entire game glitched... i had 12 and deleted them all at once so idk which it was... i will reinstall some 1 at a time and if i find out which 1 it was ill update this post
