Increasing prestige

How do I increase my prestige?

You can place the rotating light advertisements. they give 10 prestige per build (size doesn't matter). Completing missions also boosts prestige (build a communication dish for it & comm console in the guard building)
I'm sure there's other ways, but those two I can remmeber boosting it visibly.

get sucess up it, ( self-sufficient, 100 people, product 500 energy,...) look in base management,
number of people in your colony up it,
some build up it,
and the trade up it a little, if i see it right...

The dead people, down it,
and i think people with a orange or red triangle above their head too long down it a little too (when people stop to come)...

Monoliths.....

you can have up to 10 monoliths for 300 prestige. you can build more but after 10 there is no more increase in prestige.

In my time getting to 1000 perstiege i find that the easiest way to get perstiege out side of just playing the game, expanding and getting a bigger base is to build stuff that gives prestiege like monoliths and sign posts. the next way to get prestiege is to help interstellar travelers. if you have a starport and a satalite dish as well as a radio console in your control center you have a chance of catching intersteller cries for help. most of them need medical attention so you'll need medical supplys to do this for sure but if you do manage to get here you can get a large number of prestiege just by accepting interstellar guests and helping them. I find that between that and 10 monoliths you should easily be able to get close to the 1000 prestiege mark :)

the problem ive found with that is...prestige from helping travellers is very temporary. it decreases after only a few minutes, if not seconds.

Prestiege also increases the chance and from what I can tell size of Intruder parties... And we all know how those boys get down at prestiege parties.

Get your colony to 100% Excellent status. Reach 700 prestige. Build monoliths. Then clap? :)
