Invalid Location error

Have found a space where there is plenty of room and yet keep getting the invalid location error which basically shuts down any expansion just when got base really set up. Very frustrating.

Same here. Just placed few buildings - solar array, generator, water pump, airlock, O2 gen., plants dome and that's it. Keep getting this error for every other new building.

There appear to be boundaries. However, see if you can plant the base for a little building, then pull it down. I know it sounds odd, but it's like it breaks ground.

Thanks, just read some theards on other forums of Planetbase and it seems that it's not a bug. Just not enough space or bad configuration of links between buildings. I had to restart the game several times a and by try/error method learn how build a good configuration of the grid. Depends also very much on terrain though.

you can only attach interior structures to other interior sturtures

I’ve only seen this on the map boundaries. When ever you start a new map make sure to look around to find the best spot to start bulding. If its just a bunch of moutains then quit and start a new map. Thats what I do.

If the developers could make a faint red line or something like that showing the edge of the map that would be cool.

Yeah, actually it would be a good idea to draw some sort of colour zones on the ground in the moment when you're trying to place a new building. I would like that. Sometimes I have to really search.
