How do you make builder bots?

I have recently build the bot facility and I cant figure out how to make the builder bot, or even the driller bot. I have searched this and have found nothing useful. Anyone have an idea what I'm doing wrong??

You need to wait for a trade ship to arrive with the tech for those bots one for each, they are expensive.

Ok thank you, I have made the landing pad and have seen the tech, and your right they are spendy.

Consider making medicine as your trade good, relatively easy to make and moderately valuable. I have a huge surplus of plastic/starch thanks to my wheat farms and 3 or 4 medicine plants are easy to fit in. You're going to want to keep your medics occupied anyways.
