Nice large flat area to build in

If you have any good coordinates for building large bases, please post them here. I found one at N0,W84 on the first planet. Very large flat area, however, the colonists ship lands near a mountain.

I settled my last base at N 0 - O 106, it is quite a nice place.

For the desert (1st) planet, N5 E38 is pretty good too

I guess you could always keep restarting, though I'd argue the challenge of dealing with a less than ideal colony site is something that can enhance the experience.

That is good thing. You don't want to build thing far away from Colony ship too. Also, quick start for mine.

This is a choice I have to make when I start a new colony. Once I found a wonderful flat area but it was a long trudge from the landing site. Just managed to get myself shelter / power / water before anyone died.

I think that every planet has the same land formations... I've checked a few coordinates and they are the same on Mars and the Ice planet

I think this could be the best spot on each planet, it seems like every planet has the same terain. Also this is by far my favorouite spot now, thanks.

you will be disapointed to know that the storm and moon planets are much different terrain than the first two

need good coordinate for last planet, N0 E0 was good for the first, second and third. On last world its not an good spot.
