Save file
I play planetbase on my pc but when I tried playing on my laptop all my saves and milestones are not transfered. Bug? or maybe something else?

I don't think planetbase has steam cloud support (yet?); you have to copy the save files (which are basically xml files IIRC) over manually

How do you transfer the save files over?

Make a copy of the Planetbase folder in My Documents and then transfer it to the new computer. The saves are usually small enough you can probably zip them up and email them to yourself.

I have a similar problem. I have my Save files but the game is not reading it at all, It all Reset to 0.
The saves are there (Username/Documents/Planetbase/saves) but it won't read them...
What do I do?

The same thing happened to In to the Rift on Epic Games. I Just Start a single-player game and find out my 10-50 hours of game got wiped.
What can I do to get the dam game to Read It's Own Damn Saves?

The planetbase and save files are located in my documents.
C:\Users\*your account here*\Documents\Planetbase
The folder could also be located at
C:\Users\Default\Documents\Planetbase
so check both. Just copy the folder to a thumb drive, and move it over to the other pc. All your save games, and milestones will be restored.

For anyone wondering, you can skip the planet achievements by adding the following lines to profile.sav for each planet. The file is located in C:\Users\<account>\Documents\Planetbase\Profile\

<milestones> <milestone value="MilestoneSurvival" /> <milestone value="MilestoneSelfSufficiency" /> <milestone value="MilestoneExpansion" /> <milestone value="MilestoneStanding" /> <milestone value="MilestoneCentury" /> <milestone value="MilestoneTechnocracy" /> <milestone value="MilestoneRobotization" /> <milestone value="MilestoneMegalomania" /> <milestone value="MilestoneConsolidation" /> <milestone value="MilestonePowerMonger" /> </milestones>

Make sure to remove the line

<milestones />

Note there is no hyphen in "SelfSufficiency" and the "M" is capitalized in "PowerMonger"

To skip the tutorial you can also set the following lines to true

<tutorial-played value="True" /> <tutorial-completed value="True" />

And as always: you need to restart your game for the changes to go into effect
