What is this pulsing green border?

I suddenly have this most annoying damned pulsing green border around my screen ... what is it? And how do I get rid of it? And yes, its coming from Planetbase.

Select your security room and turn off the alert.

If you have no alert status set, then what you describe may be that the game is warning you about a solar flare.

These are alerts that direct colonist's actions.

Yellow alert for dust storms which will pull all colonists into the base, Red for when the base is under attack by invaders.

One can quickly change between these alerts with the '1', '2', and '3' keys
