If you haven't got a single uninjured worker left and also no carrier bots, than it could actually happen, that there is nobody left who will carry things. In this case reload an earlier savegame before all your workers were injured, switch off all your mines (to prevent your workers from getting injured) and start producing medical supplies.
Try turning off your Processing Plant and Robotics Facility and avoid new construction until your Medics start to create new Med kits.
Then you need to adjust your production such that you always have a supply of bioplastic. This will probably mean slowing down construction since this tends to use the most the quickest.
Edit: You can also raise the priority of the Lab but I'm not sure this is effective since if your medics have the materials and are not hungry or sleepy they will make Medkits.
I assume you mean Factory? The Processing Plant is where the bioplastic (and metal) is made. It's the last thing you want to turn off.
No, I meant the processing plant. The OP was trying to get workers to move the product of the medicinal plants to the lab. Turning off the Processing Plant will free workers from those positions and they will start looking for a new job.
Right. Forgot what the OP was complaining about.
Usually it's a lack of bioplastic that's the problem.
Yeah, it was a temporary solution. Kinda like when you dismantle a smaller building and they refuse to pick up the materials in order for you to build a bigger one. I've found I have to turn off every thing the workers prioritize like the mine, pp and new construction so as to leave them nothing to do but to clear my building spot.
Otherwise they'll leave components in the way and prevent me from buliding where I want.
