Game not starting. Makes pc lag

My mate have played this game for many hours, some months ago, but now, the game won't start. i have tried to help, and im stuck. When I start the game, my mouse become very laggy and my whole computer get very slow. Even ctrl atl del takes some times to open. Everthing come back to normal when I force the game to stop. I have tried the following:

Restart your computer.
Reinstall the game.
Run the game in administrator mode.
Update your video card drivers.
Disable your anti-virus.
Try running the game with one of the following command line arguments:
-force-d3d9 = game crashes, and gives a error message.
-force-d3d11 and -force-opengl = same lag
Delete the Planetbase documents folder here: Users\Documents\Planetbase.
Try the Steam troubleshooting suggestions {LINK REMOVED} in particular running Steam as administrator.
Disable the Steam Overlay, see here: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=9394-yofv-0014
Delete the Planetbase registry key here: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Madruga Works\Planetbase.

Cpu: Xeon 1650 @4700MHz
ram: Ati 16gb 1800Mhz
gpu: 1080ti Gigabyte
and the games is on a ssd

how much time do you give the game to load. and run task manager and check the performance tab when ur loading up

i have tryed just letting it run . and after a minute'ish it just crashes and gives an error message. in task manager. while its loading its using 10% cpu and nearly none memory :)

Have you tried submitting a bug report to Madruga, as opposed to a post in the forum?

i havent found anywhere i can do it, but ill give it a go, no doubt if i find out how :)

I had the same problem and found that g-sync was causing the lag for me.

In the Nvidia control panel you have to set the Monitor Technology option to "Fixed Refresh". After that the game runs fine after it loads.
