Can you turn off annoying energy beep?

When it is night and the energy is being depleted there is an annoying beep every couple of seconds. Is there any way to disable this or a mod to disable this or possibly delete the audio clip from the files somewhere?

The only way I know of is go into the settings on the main screen and turn the volume down to zero on sound fx or one of the other sound settings. It will mute the alert noise though it likely will mute other things as well.

Better solution is to provide enough energy for your base, then you won‘t get that alarm in the first place :-)

This particular sound doesn't bother me, but yeah, sound loops can be really annoying. There are games that I cannot play without turning off the sound and playing some music instead.

I particularly hate the crow cawing sound loops in XCOM and The Long Dark.

Personally I can't stand the yellow/red alert sounds that play in this game, its just incessant and repeatative so I mute most of the noise in the game.

Or, if possible, replace the soundfiles for alerts with empty soundfiles.
