Future Development - Larger maps, terraforming, etc.

I think the game has good premise, I bought it a while back and played a fair amount of it. I want the game to progress a bit more in the late game;
Terraforming (which will lead to new structures)
Involving sculpting the land (so flattening moutains, or filling in lakes or holes for more structures)
Changing the air composition, in some cases creating an atmosphere (which in turn may lead to changes in weather)
Larger maps

I don't think it will, but it has so much potential to become a cult classic that it's crazy to be left like this. I wish they would tap into that more.

Good game that's worth the money though, one of the best colony builders out there for sure.
it's got more longevity than things like the new space ANNO lol.

Yes, I would love an expansion for this game with all the things mentioned. A tourism based colony would also be great. Build some very large buildings on very large maps.

A friend of mine suggested Co-op mode as an idea, not sure what that would entail, but it could be fun

Just in case you missed it, this game will not get any more updates. I asked a while back about this and I think a dev confirmed they moved on to another project.

If you're looking for a great 'space base' building game, check out Astroneer. Still pre-alpha, even with bugs it's far more promising than Planetbase.

the game wil not get updates,however this do's not mean there wont be some nice people that make mods for this game,,mods for bigger bases and stuf :))

To some it might appear so. But i was simply providing one alternative for the OP, who asked Planetbase to offer everything Astroneer already has.

Even in it's pre-alpha "garbage" state.
