Stuck on Chapter 5

I have to run from the giant snake but I can't because the pencils on the right of the screen are on the way and the snake gets me before I can do anything. I tried to change resolution with no success.
Is there any way to solve this?

I solved it by the lowering the display refresh rate fom 144Hz to 60Hz.

I have the same problem, and looking at the hints video, it should scroll quicker than this and the snake shouldn't be as close... think this is bugged?

I have the same issue as well. My monitor is 60 Hz only. It is impossible for me to progress. This was a fun game too...

yes you just have to be very fast. when i did ch.5 it was very hard. but there is way.

all i did was tough it up and go through ;-;

even if you did find a way to get past it the game only allows you to go so far until the snake lunges at you, I'm finding it really hard to do it for a second time to collect things so i just skipped it. hope everyone with problems with it beat the level! (what I'm saying is it's the hardest level i recon but it is possible)

Personally I think it's stupid. I tried at least 40 times before I gave the game and the devs up. There is nothing worse in gaming that to have figured it out, know exactly what to do, and not be able to get it done becase of game design. If I could toggle those large crayons on and off, I could have beaten that snake, instead of walking into a rock, though that is not where I clicked, while selection a crayon, because they are where the clicks are that has to then be canceled as the snake strikes.

even on the laptop I still beat it. it just takes me about 4 tries.

i beated it when i had all of the pencils it just taked me to skip the path where u go to the dragon i used the snow pencil for water and did everything without activating the boss fight (CAN BEAT EASLY ONLY IF GAME IS BEATED OR IF U HAVE ALL PENCILS)

Hello, i dont know if you still need this, but changing your resolution to 1440x576 works, at least for me
