Driver Booster 3, steam can't connect to network

After installing Driver booster 3 i could not log on to steam network after having no issues with my account. After using system restore, to right before i ran the program, i can now access steam server. Why is a program for sale on steam that blocks steam? If anyone has any issues i recommend system restore.

Do you mean only Steam failed to access? Did you update drivers with Driver Booster before this problem happened?

Yes, only steam failed to connect. Everything else connected to the internet as normal. Yes, I ran driver booster 3 and then ,straight after updating a large number of drivers, was unable to connect to steam.
