Climbing Bug

When i climb i just can look up and down and every button is locked I want my money back 4 this buggie game

Yea I suppose it doesn't apply to every computer, but GENERALLY VSYNC ON is a good move.

I tried it with VSync on and with the options from the video, but i still have the bug -.-

OK I do not get a freeze, or weird screen, I simply cannot CLIMB or JUMP I have a Jump/Up key that I have reassigned 5 times now, but the little guy will not jump not next to a cliff, or wall, or overhang or even if he is standing in the middle of the floor, the *&^%&% JUMP KEY don't work. I cannot jump. Is there any fix for this. I have played this game through but as I recall it jumped last time. It's been a few years but I don't think you can play this game without the stupid JUMP button.

Yeah trying to climb up ledges is bugged, i've had to reload probably 30-40 times over the course of exploring the map in places that i am intended to be able to jump to. Your character just jumps straight into the wall and then you're screwed. IMO anyone who's saying that this game isnt full of bugs just doesnt consider your character dissapearing into the ether when you try to jump up a ledge a "bug". It's a minor annoyance but they must have done zero play testing before releasing this game because i can pick almost any ledge or wall and go get stuck in it, in a way that requires me to reload. Th eperfect example is the eastern temple, after you fall through the trap door and have to find a way out. The ledge that you should be able to jump up just ate my charater forcing me to reload for the 5th time in a row. Every time you plan on jumping up and grabbing a ledge, save your game, if you don't it will mean hours of heartache dealing with lost time over the ♥♥♥♥ map construction. Other than that the games awesome.

Did you guys try to enbale V-Sync ? That fixed it for me. Nvidia GTX 770 here. Maybe you have to activate that for the game in your GPU settings, force the game to use it.

I have the AMD R9390, I will give it a look, but I think my settings are to V-Sync on all games. Like you said I may have to activate in game on this one.

The trick to climbing is simple, if you want to simply pull yourself up and over an edge, stand as close to the edge you want to climb and jump straight up. Your character will automatically pull himself up. If you try jumping into the cliff edge while moving forward it won't work you need to be stationary for best results. This game infact is very glitchy. You cannot blame him or his climbing skills. But to name a solution to his problem:
I think if you would have save your game more often (like every 5 minutes or so) you would be having much more fun playing the game. Just use the levitation spell if you are faced to glitchy edges. And as far as I know youre also not able to reset your character as in other Piranyah Byte games. As I already said: Reload and use your levitation spell.

One thing that helped quite a bit though not completely is to lock the framerate to 60 FPS.
