I still get stuck sometimes if I try to climb a ledge and have to use task mager to terminate the process. But after reloading it works most of the time.
If the climb fails over and over at the same location try an older save.
Just as I thought...
Of course OPs behaviour is silly, requesting his money back just because of a clipping issue.
But you two make complete fools out of yourself. This is not the most stable game that was developed in europe. That statement got to be a joke.
The gaming forums related to the game like the official forums are full of people who have bugs.
The engine is very glitchy and that is known too.
To solve it you can try to force VSync in your graphics card settings (not in the game menu). So open up your nvidia or catalyst center and force vsync while playing risen.
That's why I had no issues, cause I'm one of those intelligent gamers you may of heard about. Unlike the rest of this thread.
If you have a powerfull PC you can keep vsync on all the time and it really helps with those older games but if you play new games with high hardware recommendations you could run into some trouble.
If your pc can not produce the 60 fps it needs to sync there maybe problems.
I read reports of performance lags and even overheating cpus and gpus, related to the use of vsync on older machines.
