I made attack and block on RB and LB, switching them with A and B.
Also, how do you set up the quick slots? I still haven't figured that out
The changes can be seen in the config preview, they are minor switches, but there's plenty of tuning done to the Left Analog Stick to make the walk/run cycle feel a little smoother. Also added Gyro for better aiming. Sadly I couldn't map Block to LT, somehow it kept triggering the quickslot bar (Steam Input bug).
Here's the config: steam://controllerconfig/40300/2923506049
You need copy and paste the text in your browser, then import the config.

Also, this is supposed to be temporal, perhaps the devs will update the default configuration. When this happens, you should switch back to the default config in Steam Input.
This is a good setup but when in the map you can press RT just fine but when you press LT it takes you off that screen almost immediately.
this was a pc game, so many buttons. I would suggest like well.. ahem all old pc games
use a mouse and kb!
or wait for hopeful patchings
qol comes second to getting it running which 80% + cant even get to run it
Yeah, the control scheme is identical on Switch. Activate/Attack with A, Guard with B, etc. It's really weird because you need to be able to move the camera around while attacking, but if you're stuck using the A button you can't really touch the Right thumbstick.
It's very odd since the older 360 control scheme was spot-on. I'm sure they were trying to bring parity to the controls of Risen 2 or something, but Risen's combat is very different from Risen 2 and 3.
but never where these games.. or any others
gothic etc
these were meant for pc
its like getting a copy of elder scrolls daggerfall
and hoping the 90 buttons needed on the keyboard can be converted to a few buttons.
lol
as I grew up OUR games had key board layouts which you put over the empty spaces on the keyboard, where on this paper or cardboard it would show what button did what
aww I miss those dayz
all I can say is controllers suck for fps
old school know
mouse is direct controllers analog and rotate slowly or quickly in a direction
that takes more time
and its not as accurate.
so old games and gamers never intended controllers on pc for anything but emulation..
hugs mates
