Old Savegame lost ??

After the update .. i cannot find my savegame (PC).
The info was, that the savegame is compatible.

What's the solution?

Yeah same, it refuses to recognize my old saves.

They are not lost. They are under: %USERPROFILE%/Saved Games\Risen\SaveGames
You will need to copy them to:
%USERPROFILE%/AppData/Local/Risen/SaveGames

Question: game doesn't read from the achievement file? I have unlocked 50/50, but Steam doesn't seem to recognize that from the Risen player profile.

Same, all saves gone from AppData\Local\Risen and from steam cloud.

Sorry but no restrospective unlocking of achievements is implemented.

I have been waiting for Steam Risen Achievements for years! I bought the game on CD when it came out. Since I got it on Steam, I've been waiting for the Achievements :D

When saving, the game hangs up. I have loaded an old savegame before. A savegame before the update.

No they are not. %USERPROFILE%/Saved Games exists, but the folder is completely empty. No Risen subfolder to be found.

They must reside somewhere else, as all savegames reappeared after I downgraded to the original game.

Okay great, I had to use the Sysinternals Process Monitor to find out that my savegames are saved on my file server at \\filesrv\games\Risen\SaveGames ...

After restarting the game, I was able to continue playing. However, quick save does not work anymore. Only auto-save now.

Quick save F8 does work, but I found out that F9 clears the quick save games.

Loading a save game does not work either. Instead, it deletes the save game. Very strange.

Can you go to AppData\Local\Risen and open the ConfigUser.xml and see what the value is for Key_F8 and Key_F9 ?
