Risen
Quests not showing
Decided to finally play this game, I like it but I can't see anything in the quests menu. I know that quests are active as I get a notification when completing a task or when cancelling one.

yes I have and they still don't show, It gets a little confusing when theres a lot of things to do and would be helpful to find out what to do next since I keep on forgetting and doing the same thing.

May I ask you how you open the "quest menu"?

Excuse an old man's comment but after you press the "L" key do you press one of the icon lacation keys above the upper box?

I think theres like 3 boxes or something on the left side of the screen and you click on all or something. When i do so i don't get any quests up.

OK. Sorry for my question but some people think the empty quest map is the quest log. And some people don't click on the quest locations like bandit camp to get to the quest log.

If your quest log is empty then

- did you change the windows font size? If yes set it back to normal size (100 %)
- in what resolution do you play risen? If it is not a 16:9 resolution set it to 16:9.
- did you activate the retro quest option? Look in ConfigDefault.xml if there is an entry: like this: RetroQuestMessageSystem="true". If it is set it to "false"
