So, you're Neffo? I visited that thread before starting a recent playthrough of the game. I was looking for a texture mod, but was too lazy to translate the posts, and decided just to go vanilla (with the unofficial patch) :P I didn't notice the screenshot spoiler box or whatever, until today... I'll try it out when I get back into Risen, but the screenshots look good, in my opinion!

edit: Oh, and I just noticed your video: Well, those textures make a noticeable difference, I think--definitely going to try the mod soon :)

Thanxs man. It was hard work, Risen 3 is in the pipeline too, but I have crashes with tthis one and it must be more optimization. To bad it looks so pretty. In my frustration I switched back to risen 1 and this works perfect.

But it looks not like my risen 3 mod. If you want a video of my modded risen 3 and a beta version but it is a big one I can post it here too.

Yup, I reinstall Risen 1 every year and playing it now with this mod, looks alot better!
