Why is Hawkins not selling worker clothe?

I remember him talking about the clothe once,but when I got back with enough money, ,I couldnt find that option to buy the clothe.I've finish almost all jobs in the swamp.Dont know what should I do to get rid of the rags I have. plz help.

Did you go through all of his dialog options? Depending on what you tell him, some of the things he says can produce different dialog branches, and I think the option to buy worker clothes is in one of those dialog trees.

However, it might be just a good idea to just save your gold until the Don sends you to Harbor Town, since you can get better gear there for less. Judging by what you say, you're close to that point, and you'll need the gold to get in, anyway.

Just finish your quest for him (getting two named workers back to work) and he will offer you the worker clothes for 500 gold.
