How do I give Sara the meat?

I'm a beginner (obviously!) I've read the manual through and through, but can find no directions on how to give something to another player. I'm supposed to give Sara a weapon and some meat, but how? I have a fire and frying pan, and some lovely fried drumsticks. How do I transfer them to her? Also, how do I drop anything from my inventory? I have some clubs I'd like to get rid of. Thank you.

you just talk to her and during the conversation you give the meat to sarah. But drumsticks are not meat she wants. you have to fry some real meat and not chicken.
