The video is showing the wrong Barbarian franchise. Arena: An Age of Barbarian Story is based on Barbarian: The Ultimate Warrior. This game is a reimagining of Barbarian II: The Dungeon of Drax (which is the sequel to The Ultimate Warrior). Everything from the gameplay mechanics, level design, characters and graphics are recognizable.

I had that game in a disk, it had the worst controls of any sidescroller game ive played Totally nonsensical from a game design point. The game was cool but the controls made it much more difficult than it had to be
