I did say it had been a while since I played before- I needed a good event session to remind myself that doing those is the best source of Idols.
But I am also MUCH lower level than you - I have yet to pass 30k on T1 - so a good dungeon run nets me SPENDABLE Idols for a talent or two.
... but you also partially prove my main question - trying to complete 15 dungeon runs in a week - is it possible for people to hit their wall 15 times? I can't. You just said it takes you 3-4 days to hit your wall. You cannot do that 15 times in a week!
Which does make me consider another option. Has anyone done the math to see approximate optimal reset level for profit? That is, instead of hitting the wall, in two runs during your week, you make it 3, stopping each run earlier earlier? With the scaling it probably doesn't hold up, but I'd be curious to see.
For my ~4k DPS (~21k areas (my maximum numbers wall)) in freeplay I get ~1000 times (figuratively speaking, I'm too lazy to count how much the real difference is, but in freeplay there are a lot of numbers + e26, and in the dungeon 000.000.000.000.000.000) more then for 75k areas in T4 dungeon.
From which we can conclude that the same rule applies to you and it will also be more profitable for you to farm freeplay. You just need to upgrade your hit wall with talents and missions with reward "Enormous Numbers".
I am not asking about getting Idols I do still get more on an Idol bonus run at this point, rather than non-event FreePlays, but ~barely~, I am NOT doing Idol runs. I did say I was much lower level than you.
I am more curious about how anyone can reasonably do 15 dungeon runs in a week. As there is the Dungeon Store item for extra runs. Is there a sweet spot of doing 10k level runs? Does one do a bunch of 30 min runs and then a few long ones? What is the best way to use the quasi-finite resource?
I'm not even asking for how to manage this at my level - I can't - I'm just curious enough to know if anyone IS pulling off their 15 runs - and how and why.
(PS I'm actually aiming, indirectly, at those skins, just doing other stuff along the way first.)

But there is a practical application in this, you just roll the bonus you need onto the most convenient objective for you, 300% dungeon points or 300% dungeon coins. ???? profit !
For me it is roll coin bounus for T4 "Playing it Old School" "Making Waves" "Jungle Journey" 1-40k = ~2000 coins, 40k-50k = ~10000 coins, 50k-75k = ~30000 coins and near 200k dungeon points without 300% bonus.
... there was never a limit on the Dungeons. (EDIT: That is never a limit on dungeon levels) There was still a limit on Max Number, but not on the number of areas. That was the point of Infinite Dungeons
I may be wrong on this though - I think there may have been a 10 run cap, not 15, but can't be certain.
And you are STILL missing my primary question. This was intended as a strategic philosophy question on doing the max number of Dungeon Runs.
And for where I am the numbers are NOT that simple. A T1 dungeon run nets me more than a T2 of the same formation. The primary factor here is TIME. That is a difference I have not tracked down the charts for. The time to do 2 or 3 T2 runs may be less than 1 or 2 T1 runs, and therefore net more over time, at the cost of more runs, even if the individual runs are less profitable. I saw these charts way back when and cannot find them for the life of me. There are certain points where the change is worth it, and others where it is not.
