Am I missing something here? It took me 5 minutes to figure out how to kill the first monster on this level. I had to use 4 buffs after wasting some time-turners that gave me no gold. Is there a trick to this level?

Have more click damage(some achievements and trinkets)
They have about 400k hp

The monsters have 400k HP? As soon as I was able to hire another crusader, everything went fine. It was just killing the 1st monster that was a pain. Neither one of the gold buffs worked. I used the saw blade and the last three buffs to be able to kill one monster.

I know each of the campaign levels are unique and that's what makes this game so interesting but it would be nice if there was a heads up on this one in the description.

Should more idols not make it easier? (Or are they just more alongside the trinkets anyway?)

Gold buffs and warps give you gold according to your current dps or gold gain/bonus, no? In any case, you won't get anything without already having crusaders out.

Idols don't apply to Click Damage, they just apply to DPS.

Click Damage is only boosted from the Click Damage Amulets, the early achievements for resetting the world, and then the Critical Click Buffs (Accuracy, Perception, etc.)

Since Time Warp gold and chest gold is based on DPS as well, they wouldn't be dropping gold with just Bush Whacker on the field.

Ah, thanks. Been playing too long to remember details. :)

I've written a thread with nearly the same subject in the Kong-forum of the game ("Click-damage recommendation for the different Campaigns").

I was stuck in the wall exactly on the same Campaign. Obviously we should farm more Amulets and should unlock at least the Achievement for 150 Resets (I'm at 123 Resets atm).

And I do agree that there should be some kind of hint on the Campaigns' description about the requirement of higher Click-damage.

Thanks, Geotarrr! I thought maybe it was just me. LOL

Finally I can confirm, that after unlocking the ingame Achievement for 150 Resets, my Click Damage became enough (~28k) to handle the first monster in Mugwarts' Objectives in reasonable time (with 10-15 clicks).
