Legendary Advice

I've been playing for awhile but I'm more of a casual player so I don't know the best formations or what legendary items are the best or worst or what level on a legendary is kind of pointless. I'm pretty sure I have created legendaries and even leveled up that really aren't worth it while some crusaders I own I should of put the gear on them instead.

I know there's some very knowledgable people who play the game and give good advice and I'm hoping that some of them will come on this thread and offer words of wisdom.

Are there any slots for any characters you can think of that it's just not worth crafting or going past a certain level for? Or is there any that you can think of that are must have?

I'd like to make changes and disenchant ones that aren't that good in favor of ones that will help me out.

Also any suggestions for great formations would be appreciated as well.

Don`t level Legendaries you don`t use, it`s wasted material.

Do you hit your current levelcap with all crusaders? If that`s the case i recommend looking for crusaders that got DPS buffs only as legendary effect and not goldbuffs of any sort. The more legendaries with DPS bonusses the better, some crusader got 3 items with DPS for all effects as well as additional skills that buff the DPS.

Do you do long runs or stay with relativly short runs? There was a long periot i used Littlefoot, his Grownup ability and Stormrider ability profit greatly from having 8+ hour runs. However now i use thalia because i got better Legendary effects on other crusaders, opening up a slot in my formation (because i don`t have to put littlefoot in).

Do you want to click or rather idle the game? I prefered idling but i found out that bushwacker or other clickerheavy heros could give me additional progress when i used them.

I would recommend to level every useful Legendary item to about the same level (if you can make every item lvl 4 or lvl 5 you should do this and not level one item to lvl 7 while lowering some other itemlevels). As long as you gain more material there is no reason to stop leveling Legendary items, the effects will double with each level (so will the costs, but whats the point in hoarting materials without using them).
F.e. while i use Baeneral, Billy, Turps and Milgrit i only levelt up some of their items (while having all legendary) depending on their legendary effect some items just won`t help me progress any further, milgrit f.e. got a DPS buff if i use at least 2 Dwarfs which i don`t as well as a DPS bonus for all magical crusaders which is not a tag that my main DPS got.

I would have to look more closely into your lineup and furthermore the Epics you got are very important for putting the "right" or best formation together.

My biggest item is Monkey's cane. I use it in every formation I can and it has the largest output of both gold and damage of any item I have. I got it to 6, but beyond that is crazy expensive.

For farming, I like to use robots, Terminator, Rudolf, Robo-Santa, Frightotron, and Veronika, with Monkey, Artaxis, Mindy, Chef, and Baeneral added in.

Rudolf is my prime dps, all of his stuff is 3-4. When I get materials I will jump his stuff up. Same with Terminator.

Frightotron and Artaxis are my biggest dps boosters other than monkey. Their primary items are 5s. For me, the boosters are more bang than my dps items.

I have a lot of others that I have run up either from before I got that setup, such as a level 5 panda clover or so that I'm not useless in challenges but those are my big investments.
