New Bug: Falling into space

I'm playing the regular game in single player on extreme. Went into beta mine and where the kept falling through the floor and into space, or what looked like space. Was still showing on the map but couldn't get anywhere. I tried to walk back to the entrance but ended up in crescent valley while still looking like I was in space, then attacked by multiple creatures.

Open your dev console with the / key.
Type this command then press the Enter key:
warp unstuck
Press the Escape key to exit the dev console.
Game should teleport you to the surface, at least it does for me when I fall in the 'void'.

Yeah, that works, but it's still a weird bug.
