At least thats how it worked the last time I played
I think this might be the only way I can get Hydrogen as I put up large radars everywhere looking for it to no avail.
Looking at older maps of site A, there was hydrogen in a few areas.
Cheers.
What a difference: Site B has plenty broken bases to salvage, mines with crates full of things, there is hydrogen hydrogen hydrogen, water, apples and potatoes. Did I mention there is hydrogen wells.
Crabs only attack in ones or twos, not 6 or 8 at a time, snubs attack in 3-4s not 15-20s.
Only thing lacking on Site B is those nice large flat areas to build super sized bases.
I recommend site A as it is really more like crash landing and how trying to survive would be.
Only thing is the animals spawn to much making it to easy to survive with all the resources and food from the bodies.
If someone finds a cave or mine on Site A, please let us know where.
Would you agree that Site A is larger than Site B?
I noticed that the playable area is way bigger than the terrain shown on the map.
Width is more than double (possible 3 times +) Site B and guestimate about 2.5 vertically using the North facing map setting.
It certainly has many large craters and that Indlewrath (Great Sandworm) pops out numerous places and also on the edges of the sand plains, launching itself quiet high, so be ready.
Resources are spread-out very nicely not like in Site B where one has to dodge them while driving around.
Great map and worth the challenge. Enjoy!
