Map Markers

IS it possible to get more Map Markers then 2 and to be able to rename them. This way you could name them and place them on the map to the resources to keep them in mind when looking for them. Also Colour would be nice to make them cord with the resource.

Beacons, thank you... Seem odd to have to build something when it is already in the system but if it does the work kool. Thank You

there is also marker and makeshift marker in the crafting menu, i think thats what they are called, they look like flags you put in the ground, im really not sure what the difference between marker and makeshift marker is, other then they take different materials to build, ive never built one though so dont know if you can rename them or if they show up on the map once placed down

Beacons are great... I keep a bunch on me and as i find geysers, I plop one down and change the name. the only draw back is now my compass is littered with beacons. Really need a compass filter feature. :)

thanks I will try both. maybe makeshift marker appear in the GPS system as I think they where called makeshift.
