More Accurate System Requirements
TL;DR:

Minimum System Requirements (1080p Max Settings 30fps):
OS: Windows 7 (64 Bit)
Processor: AMD FX4100 (3.6ghz) / Intel i3 2100 (3.1ghz)
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: AMD Radeon R7 265 2gb / nVidia GeForce GTX 750ti 2gb
Storage: 6gb available space

Recommended System Requirements (1080p Max Settings 60fps):
OS: Windows 10 (64 bit)
Processor: Intel i5 (4th gen Haswell) or more / AMD FX 8350 or more
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: nVidia GeForce GTX 1060 6gb / AMD Radeon RX 480 8gb
Storage: 6gb available space

Long Story:

After series of test with my PC and checking some youtube videos with different specs. I could say that official system requirements aren't that accurate. So i updated the system requirements and added AMD hardware in it, to reach more people and clear some question marks.

Here is my spec:
OS: Windows 10 (64 bit)
CPU: i5 4570 @3.4 ghz with all cores on turbo.
Memory: 8gb DDR3
Graphics: AMD RX 470 4gb (16.9.2 WHQL)
Storage: 1TB HDD (plenty of free space)

NOTE: Tests are based on SINGLE PLAYER and MAX SETTINGS 1080p performance (Multiplayer performance is very different and affected by server side issues, so i didnt use multiplayer results).

CPU Usage: Game doesnt use CPU that much, with my PC average utilazation is around %42 with 1 core working around %47 rest is around %40-42. On different specs, i check youtube for same graphics cards with different CPU i didnt see that much FPS difference. Its a good thing imo, because most of the unoptimized games usually limited by CPUs which is a lot weaker component than GPU and gamers are tend to upgrade their GPU more likely than CPUs. But since its Single Player tests i guess, CPU could be more important in multiplayer.

Memory: After 40mins gameplay in single player my maximum physical memory usage reached 3429mb so official recommended specs says 16gb memory but 8gb is still plenty for this game. Since memory is cheap and easy to upgrade, you may want 16gb. But that doesnt give you extra FPS.

GPU: Its the most important component for this game (and most of the games:) Surprising thing is VRAM usage, with my 4gb RX 470 game eats all my 4gb VRAM but i dont see any stutters (btw there is tons of micro stutters but its not like limited VRAM stutters). I dont know why game is that much VRAM hungry maybe its releated to draw distance (which is @ 3500 max and we cant decrease it yet) or it might be allocation not really using it. My monitor supports up to 1080p so i cant tell you anything about higher resolutions but you probably need higher VRAM for 1440p or 4k. GPU utilization is at %100 most of the time with average of %95 on my GPU. So you need good cooling on your GPU because it mostly works on %100 so if you have single fan GPUs like some nVidia Pascal mini models it could be loud.

With my spec i usually get 52-58fps (yes its not 60fps :( damn i am so close to it) There is no options to disable vsync yet. But since its not smooth 60 fps on my PC you need little bit better GPU than mine like RX 480 or 1060 6gb.

There are also no huge dips or fluctuations on FPS which is really good for an early access game. Only problem i observed is blue grasses on ground, i'm not sure it may be something but my FPS dips to 47-48 than recovers immediately when i look those blue grasses on the ground while running

Optimization is really good in this game now, but i hope there will be more optimization improvements because the game world will evolve more content will be added and multiplayer is a lot different story.

I hope this could be helpful for you. So, thats all... Have fun and keep up the good work...

Very nice write up!

I am using a very old AMD 8150 and xfired pair of 7850s. After turning off C&Q, and bumping up the CPU( 4.2ghz) I am at 80% GPU and (I forget but maybe 30% CPU). Basically even bumping up the CPU to 4.4, only gets me 90% GPU, so I figure its just my old tired out system. I do not think the game is optimized for AMD 8core..(what game is) . Anyway... FPS fluctuates based on NPCs... but is between 20 and 45, though still very playable. This is all singler player.

PS: Devs: I would be glad to offer any info I can if there is some standard process to be done to provide standardized info on systems like mine.

This totally should be pinned! Good job! I've got an 8320 @4.2Ghz and I was worried that was why my fps was so average but it turns out it's the 2GB on my GTX960. Not enough for 1920x1080.

I'm running an i7-8700 cpu @ 3.7GHz , 32Gb Ram with Geforce GTX 1080 and for what ever reason im still having trouble navagating with the quicker vehicals as if the ground wont render fast enough.. oh and if the giant worm breaks the ground forget it...
