I can't pick a favourite yet, and I have a couple of other characters I'm curious to see more of who might also make the list before I can narrow it down further. But so far, those three are favourites for me.
Nix, Zuki and Oz can be pretty strong as well, as long they don't get trailed all the time tough. I guess Oz suffers the most as soon you understand his mechanic and how to chase him down.
That reason being that he has a good spread of simple-but-specialised prep/dash/blast abilities, and a suitably flashy ultimate.
I don't know if he's technically the best, but he is a fairly easy character not only to understand, but to learn the basics with.
I play PuP in a very stealth-assassin-like playstyle. This may just be because of my main in DOTA 2 of Bounty Hunter, but I find it very effective in scrub pubs to find one target and single them out the entire game, essentially turning the game into at least a 3v3, and possibly even a 3v2 or 3v1 if the enemy team tries to fight me and my team cordinates well.
With the right mods and catalysts PuP can be surprisingly tanky. (Turtle Tech + Dog Shelter = 50 Shields lol. Previously stated combo + Helio = lololololololololololololol) This health can allow him to get away with a lot of things that a character with such high damage and good abilities shouldn't be able to do.
Or, you know,
It might be that I got PuP to level 5 in less than 24 hours.
And the only people who can play her currently are those that have paid.
Limiting Free Edition players to weekly rotation freelancers isn't a terrible choice IMO, but when the balance becomes this skewed it starts looking more and more like "Pay 2 Win" status.
Let's hope they hotfix soon so we can all go back to enjoying the game.
You know the free rotations updated (independently for each player) as she was released, right?
It would surprise me if she wasn't thrown into a bunch of free players' rotations.
