Tabletopia not working on Win 10
I have tried unsuccessfully to get Tabletopia to run. The Steam box saying "preparing to launch" pops up for a split second, then nothing. It stops showing as "running" and just shows "play" in the Steam app. Nothing for it shows in the Task Manager. My Output Log is blank and I have nothing for it in the User\AppData\Roaming...

Reading others' problems with this and the support response, I have:
* Uninstalled and reinstalled Tabletopia
* Tried to install .Net Framework 4.6 which fails because I have a newer version already installed
* Tried to install Visual C++ 2015
- Error installing since I have a newer version (2017) installed
- Uninstalled Visual C++ 2017, installed 2015, reinstalled 2017 only to have it replace 2015
* Tried running Tabletopiua.exe as Administrator

I am running Win 10 Pro and my video card is updated with the latest driver. Ryzen 5 1600 3.40Ghz, Radeon RX 580, 16GB RAM. I don't have any issues running any other Steam and non-Steam games. If you need more system info, I can email you the log.

Initially, when I had first installed Tabletopia, it said something about setting up since it was the first time running it. Then that box had disappeared and I haven't seen anything other than the "preparing to launch" and that is literally for a split second. Thank you.

I can suggest you to try playing via browser. It works best under IE.

Thank you for the reply. It won't work for me on the browser either. I commented on the game page on the website about it. Support initially responded to me on there, but haven't gotten any more replies, nor a solution. I've tried Firefox, Chrome, IE, Edge.... Kinda out of browser options there now. It was giving a memory issue, which apparently is a developer issue.

Here are the posts from the page for it on the Tabletopia website.

Trying to load this in Chrome and Firefox, I get the following error:
"Out of memory. If you are the developer of this content, try allocating more memory to your WebGL build in the WebGL player settings."

Try to run it via IE browser or Steam app. They shouldn't give such issues.

Thank you for your reply. It won't run in IE or Edge either. I initially tried to run Tabletopia from the Steam app, but it won't run. It pops up a "preparing to launch", which disappears right away, then nothing. I left a detailed post in Discussions on there, but no reply yet.
I backed the board game on KS so was looking forward to trying it out on here.

Please forward your system info file to support@tabletopia. com

1) On the keyboard, hold down the WINDOWS key and then hit R.
2) In the Run window, type MSINFO32 and then click OK.
3) In the System Information window, click the File menu and then Save.
4) Set the desired folder to save to, enter a file name, and then click Save.

@SoIA Just sent.

I will update this later for other Steam users that come across it.

Tabletopia now seems to work for me. I have no idea why it does now when it didn't the various other times I tried. I said I would update this so hopefully this thread will help someone facing the same issue.

I contacted Support via email and was told,
"System info file shows extremely low video memory. See attachment. Try to install the latest video drivers."

I do have the latest video drivers and Radeon Settings always informs when there is a new update available. I also find it weird that it would show low video memory. It's an 8GB card. We just got a new monitor so I've been messing with that (separate monitor issue) and have restarted the computer several times. The Sys Info still looks the same and is showing the same amount that Support said is extremely low. But Tabletopia loads! I don't know if there was an update to it, if it was because I had other programs running the previous times I have tried, or what. Looking forward to finally getting to try this out.

So, how's it been since then?

I actually hadn't been on it for quite a while. I just tried it so I could give you an answer and after loading for a while, it opened up and seems to work.
