JavaScriptAlert - no games playable
Without having changed anything on my system, tabletopia doesnt let me play anything anymore. I get to the menu fine, but when I start to play or join a game, first there´s a pop-up saying
"JacaScriptAlert - https://tabletopia.com - An error occurred running the Unity content on this page. See your browser JavaScript console for more info. The Error was: Script error."
If I just click the only button (ok) - it proceeds to a loading screen that doesnt resolve and reads: "Your browser does not support WebGL"

Now I´m confused - I´m starting tabletopia from steam, so there´s no browser involved. I use Opera as my standard browser, but changed it to a different one just to see if it fixes the problem. It does not. I reinstalled Java, but this also doesnt resolve anything. I reinstalled tabletopia, but this also doesnt solve anything...

Does anyone have additional ideas?

Thanks in advance
Andreas

Does it happen with any game? Try to start a game via a browser. Will it work?

Funny enough, when I play over my browser, it does let me play. (thanks for the workaround!)

Still: Steam doesnt - even a re-install of steam didnt fix it... any other ideas? And yes, it happens with every game.

Try to install Windows updates. This helped one of our users.

I've updated my Windows to build 18363.719 and it solved the issue :)

I have the same issue and it is still there after updating to Windows build 18636.752. It works on my browser but not via the app. I might be wrong but the error ocurred for the first time after re-installed Java (which was necessary to run the Vassal engine), However, even removing Java and Steam and then re-installing everything did not change anything. Please help!

Edit: I found out that it works when I log in as Admin on my Windows PC. It does not work, when I use my personal account...

I got rid of the problem but since I did it all quite unsystematically, I don't know what exactly helped. I unsinstalled Steam and also deleted every folder named Steam in the subfolders of C:\Users\[username]\AppData manually. Since I had tried to solve the problem by installing Unity and Java in the meantime I also deleted all their folders in AppData. After re-installing Steam, I no longer had the problem.

Also have same problem and despite updating windows issue has not resolved. Have also tried another game which reports same problem.
About to delete and claim money back having updated to a Premium account to allow access to these games, non of which I can play!

Same here. I can't play the DLC bought on steam. And in the browser you can only access the m through premium :-(

Have tried numerous work rounds via Steam all not working still. I am able to link via your own page https://tabletopia.com but this cannot link to Steam and had to setup another account - not Premium just Basic as did not want to pay again!
Want to know how I cancel my Premium account payment via Steam as would like to to unload game as un-playable, will look to use other platforms...

I had this problem. I think my default web browser (chrome) didn't have the right bits and bobs installed or enabled. I found something about enabling webgl in chrome but this didn't seem to work
I changed my default browser to IE and the game loaded fine. I changed by default back to chrome and the problem didn't reappear.

It appears as though the game is now working!

Latest update still hasn't fixed it on my end. I've tried the default browser fix, and no luck.
