is it possible to save a game in progress and come back to it with the same players later?

You do not need to save the game progress. It is automatically saved. You can leave the game room any time and continue to play at a later time. The game will carry on from where you left off. But if you do not visit your room at least once during 48 hours period, the room will be automatically deleted.

How works this?
Because i have gold statut in Tabletopia, i invited a friend to play "The Village" as guest player but when he close internet explorer and he come back later (with same nickname), he is considered as spectator.
