It starts up and then stops with the message "Connecting...".

Unfortunately, there is no solution at the moment. We are working on it. Try to play via browser client, please.

Luckily my main gaming rig is a Windows PC. It runs fine there.

Well, was going to pop in and see if this would work for our gaming group during quarantine. No native mac support is a deal breaker. Web site is not good enough. On to other options!

Removing the overlays makes no difference. Still hangs on connecting.

same here.

I went to the web browser version and it isn't crisp looking. The controls act the same, but the colors and clarity of Tabletopia is much less pleasant. When you are using smaller objects, it is harder to deal with. Please fix the issue.

Is anyone working on this issue? Please let us know how things are coming.

Any news? Turning off overlays etc still does nothing to advance past the Connecting… message.

This worked for me until I upgraded to MacOS Catalina 10.15.4 and now I'm stuck again. Keep working on it guys please!

Still borked here. I'm happy to provide logs and trace info where it might help. At the moment, Tabletop Simulator is getting all the attention here, but I'd love to get games running on Tabletopia sooner rather than later. Native app over web interface is preferred.

For anyone using an M1 Mac, you'll need to follow these steps:

1) In Steam, right-click Tabletopia in your Games library and go to Manage > Browse Local Files.

2) In the Finder window that opens, right-click on Tabletopia.app and choose "Get Info."

3) In the Tabletopia.app Info window that opens, add a checkmark to "Open using Rosetta."

4) Launch Tabletopia as normal through Steam.
