Solved by not playing lol
Considering that Secret Hitler is the single most played game on Tabletopia, it seems like many players are doing fine with SolA's suggested workaround (or other options)

I don't need to video chat for playing Secret Hitler. I can play at secrethitler.io or Tabletop Simulator so thanks i'm fine. Everyone is free to play as they wish.
