What are your thoughts on puzzle difficulty S1+S2?

I think the difficulty throughout both seasons was just enough hard but man, s2 ep2 was such a pain in the a♥♥ I had to watch half of it on youtube, by far hardest puzzles (and the amount) in that episode alone..

There are some tricky puzzles in S2, which is fun, but I felt like some of them are not intuitive at all. The necklace puzzle is absurd. How are you supposed to know that you should go to the beach to retrieve the necklace EXACTLY after putting the bouquet of flowers by the grave? There is nothing to tell you that. And then you have to redo the entire episode because of that? Sorry, that's just bad design.

Wait... you mean you NEED that necklace to progress that episode? Cuz I missed that completely and read a walkthrough telling me I need it and I couldn't find it anywhere... and then I tried advancing with the statue bit where it's supposed to drop something but I kept backtracking, retracing according to what those walkthroughs said and still I didn't drop whatever the ♥♥♥♥ it was supposed to drop.

Someone please confirm to me this isn't the case. If it is I am completely done with this series, I've already wasted an hour or two just through backtracking alone.

Well to be fair, the necklace thing is a secret. It's not necessarily supposed to be found on a normal playthrough. It does take a long time to get back to that point though.

I think S2 was a lot easier. Maybe I just got used to the game's logic.I remember I got stuck plenty of times during S1 because I kept missing something (hints, items).
