One Controller, Yes.... Two Controllers, Nope.

Using Ubuntu 18.10, I can only get one xbox-style, usb-connected controller working. I tried to use a second one (same type) to play with a friend, but the second one was not recognized.

i dont know if linux have the same thing but tried to use the steam controller emulator? you can set it on steam propieties and make it manage your controllers

yes that worked, actually...
after DISABLING the steam controller emulator (under the game properties window) the controller stopped showing up twice in the game
