How do I swith on the Bunsen burner???

OK I am sure it is very obvious and I will feel like a fool but I am in the cellar for the first time (not sure if I will have to go back later on in the game). I have picked up the records, the chemicals, the lemon juice and the crank. I have turned on the gas and tried to combine one of the chemical bottles with the burner. It is telling me the gas is on but I now have to light it. Can't find lighter or matches (even checked the washing machine and all the boxes one by one). What am I missing???

When in doubt, check the mask.

I got it. For some reason the box was empty on the floor already but I went to the other side it fell again and had the matches in it. Thanks for the cryptic tip :)

I'm having trouble getting the matches, too. The coffee pot has fallen, I've tried searching around with the mask on, but so far no luck. Hints welcome. Thanks.
