steering wheel not recognized

Hi,

I installed from Steam on Windows 10 FlatOut 4 Total Intensity.
In options> commands, only the keyboard appears and although my steering wheel is recognized as a device on my pc, it cannot be detected in the game.
Can we remedy this problem?

i have the same problem, also windows 10, but no steering wheel appears. Other games working fine.

We have had the issue since launch day. I even purchased the PS4 version in hopes it would work but there is zero wheel support. Only keyboards and Xbox controller work on PC. I have tried every work around from software like x360ce to steams controller settings and the closest I have gotten was with the software Xoutput. I believe as soon as the game detects any other controller it defaults to keyboard. With Xoutput you can hide the wheel from the system with Hid guardian but to mission each time for just Flatout 4 is something I will just have to live without.
PLEASE DEVS ADD WHEEL SUPPORT. MY ALL TIME TOP WHEEL EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN FLATOUT ULTIMATE CARNAGE ON 360 (Pc I had to use x360ce to get the same wheel working but the fun was gone).

The lack of steering wheel support is the main disadvantage of this game.
So, for everybody who is still considering to buy this game, be warned of this.
Excellent graphics and art of the tracks compensates this disadvantage partly, but another disadvantage is that tracks aren't many.

It's highly unlikely devs will add the steering wheel support or fix some of the bugs existing. Development of the game has been ended a long time ago.

You can use a wheel by emulating a Xbox controller through x360ce. In this game it even generate the vibrations effect in the wheel. Do not forget to get rid of the deadzone with the anti-deazone parameter (I use 15%). And set your wheel at 360° (or less for more sensitivity). It works really well in this game.
