It costs like a tenth of Flatout 4's price right now and it's a step up in every way, even the graphics which are almost a decade old by now. Hell Flatout 4 can't even compete with Flatout 2 in terms of graphics...

Seriously, whoever said Flaout 4 is good either has no standards or never actually played it. Just because it's not as bad as Flatout 3 doesn't make it good, and neither of them are.

Ultimate Carnage is the last game in the series made by competent developers (before they went full r*tard and made Wreckfest anyway).

FYI I don't like The Witcher 3 either, but I have no problem recognizing it as one of the best games ever made. It's called being objective, something you'd know nothing about.

A FREE game, dumbo. One with more save editors and cheat mods than I can count. Though to be honest I never even needed them, the game essentially plays for you while you're away, and it's so easy I'd be amazed if anyone ever paid for micro-transactions.

I was fan of Flatout 2. I was in search for a game like Flatout2 but to no avail. I was really happy to see Flatout4, the thing is, i watched many gameplay videos of it (i do that with every game before buying) and i noticed something: The AI is horrible. In all the the videos i watched, the AI kept crashing randomly to the point the player always finishes first by far....I hope the devs will keep working on the game because its actual state doesn't really justify its price (especially with the lack of marketing around it)

Bought this yesterday (cost 95rmb for me as I live in China which is a pretty decent price for a brand new game), and I can enjoy it. Granted, it's not even close to Ultimate Carnage good, but it is miles better than Flatout 3, and unfortunately it's not exactly a market overflowing with choices. The stunts are fairly nicely executed, driving isn't too bad either, although cars can spin a bit to much.
My only 2 gripes with this game are the AI - Yes, they suck. They have no personality, they don't use the same vehicles each race so you can't spot a particular person and make sure you take them out (I love this about the Bugbear Flatouts). My other gripe is the tracks. They are uninspired, unimaginative and just slapped together to try and seem interesting. Ultimate Carnage had some tracks that felt a bit bad, but overall they were nice to race on, the tracks in this game however just feel... Fake.
I'd not recommend paying a lot for this game, but once it goes on sale in the future, it's really not a bad game. I don't regret buying it at all for the price I paid.

Wreckfest is a huge disaster that Bugbear should made into a FlatOut game, instead of the simulation type game they have now. Slow development, and false advertisement is why I hate Bugbear now.

Where we disagree:
I'm am very much enjoying FlatOut 4, although it is not the Bugbear style we wanted. Bugbear isn't probably never going to get the FlatOut name back, so hoping for a good FlatOut is like hoping for a unicorn. I want the developers to improve, and I hope they do a better job in the future.

No we don't. Wreckfest is a disaster on it's own merits, because it's buggy, broken, unpolished, ugly and lacking content, it has nothing to do with what it set out to be. Yeah it should've been a Flatout style game, that's how it was advertised, but it could've easily been a good demo derby simulator as well (or whatever style it's aiming for now).

Again, it has nothing to do with the style. Flatout 4 is bad because lacks in both quality and quantity, and can't justify the $40 pricetag. Not even on it's own merits, let alone when compared to it's predecessors which are essentialy the same game but 10 times better and (right now) 10 times cheaper.

yes Wreckfest Lacking some of elements of old flatout but terms of physics and crashing is way better.

Another "expert" that thinks he can objectively tell what is worth it and what not. I know you can objectively judge wether or not game is good or well made, but who are you exactly to say that? Unless you give looooong review that takes 10 minutes to read, with pros, cons and proofs for them, you don't have proof of your knowledge being better than anybody else's. I don't consider FO4 and wreckfest a good games just like you but telling people what they should buy is just childishly pathetic cause you can do it with everything without giving reason. You like to think you are objective, but calling someone idiot for buying game for 40$ when it's not worth it in you eyes, is as far from objectivity as it can be. If i had same reasoning as you, i would say Buying Grid 2 instead of one is sign of being an idiot, because grid 1 has a lot more content. Just try to prove me wrong and you will show your hipocisy. (I have grid1 on ps3, not steam). Your steam reviews are also weird, negative opinions with two words of reasoning and despite many hours of playtime. (I don't try to be offensive.)
