Hey!
It's not a horror game. Is an puzzle + exploration + narrative game. You'll have puzzles to solve and a plot to discover behind the enigmatic walls of the hotel room.
Give it a shot and you'll see that is not a walking simulator! (:
Just asking. I am kind of wary of games like these, especially after The Last Sunset and Gone Home. Those games had nothing to it other than being "progressive". Please don't tel me this game is about progressivism. I can't take another dumb hipster wannabe social justice game.
I'm not sure if I'm getting your point! Anyways, the game have narrative components but also old aventure game mechanics to solve puzzles and riddles around.
You should try the demo and judge if it's a game you are interested in (:
Let me know if you do it!
Yeah, there are some creepy/weird moments that might scare you a little bit! But it's important to remind that it's not a scary/horror game! (:
That's a pity.. The weird things I was talking about are not scary most of the time, as I said is not a horror game, these kind of scenes are made for break the rythm of the game and bring some tension to the gameplay, but anyways I think it depends on the player mostly!
Let me know if you have the chance to play at some point!
wat
The dark atmosphere can tense things a little bit, and depending of the player it might scare you a little bit at some point.. if you have an easy scare. Anyways, the thing is that the game doesn't pretend to be a horror game, it just have this gloomy feeling that feels somber and you can clearly see that something is not all right.
+1
I know EXACTLY what you mean. And I agree.
Anyway, demo looked really interesting, would definetely buy it. I really like it that after 20 (or maybe 40?) years of point'and'click I at last have an ability to NOT put every useless thing in my inventory. I'm probably still gonna though)
I can tell you his point. There's a social INjustice warrior brigade on steam that cry and complain about gone home because one of the charcaters dared not to be heterosexual. Every time it goes on sale they spew hatred all over the forums. So they're here to complain without even trying your game. Anyway, it's nonsense -ignore it.
I am saying that Gone Home was a pointless walking simulator but because there were gays in it, people began giving it 10/10. Also corruption.
